Eddie’s Reuses and Recycles

We at Eddie’s care a great deal about the preservation of our environment. We recently began selling a reusable bag for our customers to bring when they come to Eddie’s to shop. The bag sells for $1 including tax. We make no profit on this item and encourage all of our customers to purchase and then use and reuse the Re-bag. Many Charles Villagers can be seen carrying our bag on their daily errands to places other than Eddie’s.
Plastic Bag Recycling
Outside our front door you will find a large cylindrical receptacle for plastic bag recycling. Each week we send the bags that are placed in the container back to our plastic bag supplier who sends them on to be recycled. This effort has been hugely successful as the container is filled to the top several times each week. We strongly recommend that Charles Villagers take advantage of this opportunity to get rid of their bags.
